It is true Egyptian Arabic is the most popular dialect, but there are others. Levantine arabic is a close second and it is spoken across the levant (sham) region. The best dialect kind of depends on where you plan on travelling to or staying. But if you don’t care what dialect you’re going to learn, we definitely suggest learning Egyptian Arabic.
As a general rule – if you want to speak/communicate with other arab speakers then the recommendation is to learn Egyptian Arabic (or another dialect). If however, you want to understand the Quran, Islamic texts and academic work, learn Modern Standard Arabic.

This will vary as we do not typically provide set course lengths – it will depend on the student’s ability and level of commitment. Learning a new language is not an easy task and requires patience, as progress will be slow at the beginning.
